We are delighted to receive support from a very local business to Greenfingers Charity, Halcyon Interiors, who are based just a few roads away from us in Old Beaconsfield. Last week the creative team held a vintage tea party in store, raising a wonderful £430 that will help us to create magical gardens for seriously-ill children spending time in a hospice.
Truly embracing the Greenfingers spirit by holding a cake sale with a summery vibe, Halcyon wowed guests with their display of vintage floral china, pretty bunting and of course, a mouth-watering selection of cakes baked by resident home economist Sarah Gardener.
We were pleased to see students from Beaconsfield High School also showcase their baking skills, and would like to express our thanks to them for dedicating their time to raising money for seriously-ill children who will benefit from time spent outdoors in a Greenfingers garden, and to photographer Jacqueline from Penn Road Studio for capturing the lovely event.
Would you like to hold a local event for Greenfingers Charity, in or around Beaconsfield? If so, we'd love to hear from you. Please send an email to Mandy; mandy@greenfingerscharity.org.uk or call 01494 674749
