Breaking their 30 year tradition, British furniture-makers Bridgman decided to forgo this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show, instead choosing to give back to the wider community by partnering with Greenfingers Charity.
Rather than exhibiting, the brand have donated the money they would have used for stand decor as well as a percentage of their profits from 22nd to the 27th of May . The grand total of £10,899 will support Greenfingers’ amazing work creating magical gardens for children in hospices across the UK.
“We are proud to be supporting Greenfingers Charity, an organisation that is very close to our hearts. The money we have raised will support Greenfingers’ invaluable work helping children with life-threatening and life-limiting illness and their families to enjoy the outdoors whilst living away from home.” - Alex Bridgman, CEO
“We are absolutely thrilled to have received such a generous donation from our friends at Bridgman. This donation will make a tremendous difference as we plan more Greenfingers gardens in children's hospices across the UK.” - Linda Petrons, Director of Fundraising & Communications at Greenfingers Charity
A long-standing supporter of the charity, Bridgman has donated garden furniture to multiple hospices over the years to help bring these inspiring gardens to life. Each interactive outdoor area gives children with life-threatening conditions and their families a special place to spend time together and enjoy special memories and moments of fun in the fresh air.
