We’re delighted to report that our Charity Partner, Kew Green Hotels achieved their highest ever fundraising total in December, raising just over a whopping £20,000! Their festive fundraising efforts were outstanding and we saw a whole range of money-making initiatives from hotel teams right across the UK, including...
Charity nights, bag packing at B&M Bargains, book sales, Christmas parties, Christmas bake sales, tombolas, darts tournaments, Christmas lunches, hot-chocolate sales, raffles of all kinds, giving away hampers, Prosecco, unicorns and even hotel stays, collection pots, reindeer racing, candy cane trees, Santa Claus dress up, Christmas jumper days and much more!
This takes the total to nearly £390k and for this amazing effort we are truly grateful, as it means we are able to continue to create and plan more amazing Greenfingers gardens as we head into 2020.
Speaking on behalf of the charity, Linda Petrons Director of Fundraising & Communications said “We are enormously grateful to our friends at Kew Green Hotels who, despite Christmas being a very busy time in the hotels, their passion and commitment to support our work during the festive season was simply amazing. We would like to say a huge thank you to all for the continued enthusiasm to support our work which really is making a difference to life-limited children and their families who spend time in hospices across the UK.”
