Volunteers give two greenfingers gardens a refresh on the same day!

On the 20th August, we had not one but TWO volunteer days taking place in Greenfingers Gardens.

The first with the British Garden Centres team up at St Andrews Hospice in Grimsby and the second with a team from Clarins UK at The Nook, part of East Anglia Children's Hospices in Norfolk.

The Clarins team (pictured), alongside our Operations Director, Neil, worked hard to weed and clear the ground in preparation for the planting of a Mediterranean Garden area which will feature an accessible, central winding path with planting in colour-coordinated blocks either wide.

The British Garden Centre volunteers weeded, pruned, chopped and tidied to help revitalise the hospice's grounds and the Greenfingers Charity pirate-themed garden!

Such amazing transformations at both these gardens in just one day! Huge thanks to Clarins, British Garden Centres and ALL involved for making such a difference.
